How I Understand AGING & MENOPAUSE?

-Ageing (British English) or Aging (American English) is the accumulation of changes in an organism or object over time. In humans it refers to a multidimensional process of physical, psychological, and social change. Some dimensions of ageing grow and expand over time.  Age is measured chronologically, and a person's birthday is often an important event..wikipedia.org

Aging and menopause were natural process...All women are different, ( of course!) not only in physical and emotional standards, but also on when they will experience the signs and symptoms of menopause.
As we age, our ovaries become less functional, the decrease in estrogen and progesterone causes a decline in bone density. Digestion takes longer, and our metabolism starts to slow down. This makes us become even more prone to weight gain. And let’s face it… if we don’t look good, we don’t feel good – plain and simple.
Momentarily I haven't experience its signs and symtoms, I understand that I am on that way soon-jonarita.- Menopause is the transition period in a woman's life when ovaries stop producing eggs,  body produces less estrogen and progesterone, and menstruation becomes less frequent, eventually stopping altogether.
It is a natural event of a woman's life as she age. The average age that most women experience menopause is between 51 and 55. Once menopause is complete and you have not had a period for 1 year, you are no longer at risk of becoming pregnant. The symptoms of menopause are caused by changes in estrogen and progesterone levels. The ovaries make less of these hormones over time. The specific symptoms and how significant (mild, moderate, or severe) they are varies from woman to woman.
Common symptoms of menopause include
  • Hot flashes
  • Night sweats
  • Skin flushing
  • Sleeping problems (insomnia)
Other symptoms of menopause may include:
  • Headaches
  • Irregular menstrual periods
  • Mood swings including irritability, depression, and anxiety
  • Joint aches and pain at marami pang iba!
Aging is a natural process that some dreads going through. Having hair turned grey, developing wrinkles, gaining weight in places where never imagined, are factors constantly compiling in the minds. However, paying much attention to these superficial factors, we often neglect to recognize the deeper aspects within us that have a greater impact. The complex state of being unaware how to behave, whom to turn to, and feeling useless can wreak a major toll on our lives. However, enduring all these and also being alone can truly drain the last ounce of life we are left with in the end.-jonarita HAPPY AGING everyone :)
